Attention ALL Actors!
The
Needed: Cherokee men and women, ages 20s-60s (acting experience preferred, but
not essential).
Roles: Peace Chief Attakullakulla, War Chief Oconostota,
Beloved Woman Nancy Ward, Dragging Canoe and Captain Nathaniel Gist.
There will also be two
non-speaking roles for Warriors who accompany Dragging Canoe.
We will also need
understudies who will also be paid for rehearsals and any performances they are
called to do.
Audition dates: Thursday, April 3 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, April 4
from 12 noon - 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Prepare
a one-minute monologue, speech or poem.

Location: At the Schoolhouse at Adam's Corner, Cherokee Heritage Center off
Performances: Friday and Saturday evenings from May 30 - August 16, 2008. Actors
receive pay for performances and rehearsals.
Rehearsals: Tuesday and Thursday evenings from late April - May 27.
Pay: Actors will be paid for rehearsals and for performances.
